Invoice follow-up review
Workflow design — not yet built
Combine invoice facts and account holds into a finance follow-up preview.
The workflow
- Buyer problem
- A standard reminder can miss a dispute, promise to pay, or payment that needs reconciliation.
- Intended users
- Finance and account teams managing B2B service invoices across accounting and client-context tools.
- Inputs
- Fictional invoice balances, due dates, currencies, source status, account holds, payment signals, and prior-contact context.
- Intended steps
- Validate the invoice facts and business dates.
- Check paid/void states, disputes, promises, and stale or missing context.
- Choose a follow-up preview, suppression, or finance-review route.
- Attach the reasons and unresolved payment facts to the queue.
- Intended output
- An intended review queue with eligible follow-up previews and explicit holds.
- Human review
- Finance decides on ambiguous payment facts and older invoices; account managers review sensitive follow-ups and approve customer contact policy.
- Limitations
- Prepared fictional logic only. Accounting/context reads, fresh balance checks, durable contact limits, and delivery reconciliation are pending. No customer contact, accounting write, or collection result is established.
